Meet Cindy and Helen — travel advisors, sisters-in-law, and lifelong lovers of adventure.

Sitting still has never been our strong suit, which may explain why we turned travel into our profession.

Happy Horizons was born from a shared love of exploring the world — and our mutual inability to stay home for very long. What began as conversations about our own trips quickly turned into a passion for helping others travel with confidence, excitement, and ease.

We believe travel is about more than getting from point A to point B. It’s about the moments that stay forever with you — the first glimpse of a new city, sand between your toes, laughter on a once-in-a-lifetime trip. That’s why we take the time to truly understand what our clients want, crafting journeys that feel personal, seamless, and unforgettable: from customized itineraries to expert support before, during, and after your travels, we handle the details so you can focus on what matters most - enjoying the experience.

Meet Cindy

Hey, I’m Cindy!
I’m originally from Canada and now live in the USA!

From backpacking through Europe to sailing on cruises and exploring all-inclusive resorts, I’ve seen the world in a variety of ways.

The most unforgettable adventure was spending an entire year traveling around the world with my husband & three daughters. That year changed my entire perspective on life and traveling. It stretched us, inspired us, and opened my eyes to cultures, people, and places I never would have experienced otherwise.

I feel blessed to have visited over 45 countries across 5 continents and still have a passion to see so much more. These experiences sparked my desire to help others plan their own unforgettable adventures & broaden their horizons!

My love for travel started early. I grew up in Russia with a dad who worked as a radio operator on Aeroflot’s flight crew and took real pride in bringing his starry-eyed daughter along on flights around the former USSR. My mom loved our family trips to the Black Sea, and between the two of them, travel became part of who I am. While other kids collected toys, I collected stories, stared at photos of far-off places, and perfected the art of airport people-watching. If you’ve ever felt that tug toward “somewhere else,” we’ll get along just fine.

Later on, those daydreams turned into real stamps in my passport — traveling through the U.S., Taiwan, and Singapore as a linguist. After moving to the U.S. and starting a family, travel shifted but never stopped: the Canadian Rockies, long road trips across the U.S., and sun-soaked time in Mexico and the Caribbean, from all-inclusive resorts to fun-filled cruises. After years spent raising a big family and running a restaurant, then a catering business, I finally decided to turn the thing I’ve always loved into what I do — empowering other people plan fantastic trips.
